My story

Hi, I’m Kemi Marie!

I’m a 24 year old queer mother, philosophical writer, speaker, adventurous nomad, entrepreneur, masters student, excitable fire sign, full time creative, and more. Honestly, I wear a lot of hats and do a lot of things in my day to day. I have a lot of hobbies: dance, pottery, finger crocheting, music production, photography, hiking, call of duty, reading, and some I’m forgetting.

Overall, I envision a new future for collective wellness and push to show you it’s possible. I question binaries and push beyond societal limitations, I challenge the impossible and pave a way. I discuss all things taboo and never shy away. Non conventional, neurodivergent and outside dominant culture? I wear my differences with pride and use it as my superpower.

How it all started

After experiencing a large wave of growth on social media in 2019, I dedicated my presence to astrology, wellness education, empowerment, breathwork facilitation and holistic liberation of the mind, body, and spirit. Doing so in a vulnerable, transparent and authentic way, I cultivated a close knit community.

During this time, I was also attending university. After graduating at 20 with a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy, Religion, and Society, I took a break from schooling in order to explore and focus on my business.

Throughout the pandemic, I hosted online classes to complement my writings, teaching wellness and healing, leading reiki and breathwork circles and engaging in doula work. In 2021, I released my “Deck of Encouragement” which garnered a lot of attention, eventually being sold in Free People. The following year, I released my first Shadow Work Book Vol 1 with a sequel in 2023, The Shadow Work Book Vol 2. Reaching and inspiring various people, I continued to share which landed me opportunities such as speaking engagements at Stanford University, writing monthly astrology horoscopes for Refinery29, growing a following and living an entrepreneurial lifestyle.
